Paul Casey is currently in his fourth year of a BMus degree majoring in violin, and minoring in viola at the University of Ottawa. He studies with David Stewart and Rennie Regehr. Paul received extensive orchestral and chamber training through the Ottawa Youth Orchestra Academy from 1993 to 2004. He has since become a member of the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra, as well as the Ottawa University Orchestra, where he is this season's concertmaster. Paul has toured Canada with the National Youth Orchestra of Canada (2004), Europe and South America with the Youth Orchestra of the Americas (2005, 2006), China with L'orchestra de la francophonie canadienne (2007), and most recently Germany, with the German-Scandinavian Youth Orchestra (2008). He has performed as soloist with the Ottawa Youth Orchestra, and the Ottawa Univeristy Orchestra. Paul teaches both group and private violin and is the string coach of the Ottawa Junior Youth Orchestra.
