JULIANA MARIA BELLO BAUTISTA VIOLIN Was born in bogota in 1981. She began her studies at age six at the Youth simphony orchestra of Colombia as his grand father colombian composer Bonifacio Bautista recomended. Student of Maestra Ruth Lamprea and Maestro Mario Diaz years later she became a member of the Youth simphony orchestra of Colombia under the baton of Maestro Ernesto Diaz Almeciga and later on held the posistion of concermaster and played as a soloist at age twelve with this orchestra. Juliana began her undergraduate studies in year 1999 at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia with Maestro Eduardo Berrio. In year 2002 she was selected to participate in (FOSJA) Festival orquesta juvenil de las americas which is held every year at the city of San Juan in Puerto Rico with Maestro Luis Biava as conductor and artistic advisor. Juliana was also selected to be part of the “Monday of young artists” sponsored by the Biblioteca Luis Angel Arango of Banco de la Republica and the first version of the cicle “Young talent” of the French Alliance. She has given recitals at the “Albert Camus” hall at the French Alliance as well as the “Olav Roots” hall at the National University. Juliana graduated in year 2005 as a performer and pedagogue and began her profesional life playing asistant second with the Filarmonica de Cundinamarca under the baton of maestro Manuel Cubides and also asistant concermaster of the music deparment orchestra of the National University. Between years 2000 and 2003 she was member of the Filarmonica the Bogota and since 2004 she has been principal second of the orquesta Sinfonica Nacional de Colombia. She has been an active member of YOA since 2005 to this day.
