Ana Drobac was born in Belgrade, Serbia. She is currently enrolled in the last year of a Doctoral program at the Universite de Montreal in the class of Anne Robert. She holds a Masters degree from the same university and a Bachelors degree from the Music Academy in Belgrade. Ana is a member of Orchestre Symphonique de Trois-Rivieres under maestro Jacques Lacombe, and she also plays in the chamber ensemble La Pieta with Angele Dubeau. Since 2005 she is a member of the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival with whom she toured Japan, Europe and Brazil. Ana participated in two YOA projects in 2006 and 2007. From 1999-2003 she was a member of the string orchestra St. George Strings in Belgrade. She also was a member of the ''Orchestra for Weddings and Funerals'' led by Goran Bregovic and they toured Germany, France, Sweden, Lebanon,Italy, and ex-Yugoslavia. Ana is a dedicated teacher, and has 30 students.
