A native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Jeremy Epp began his musical training on piano at age five before moving on to percussion studies at twelve. He is currently enrolled at the Cleveland Institute of Music where he studies with Cleveland Orchestra Principal Timpanist Paul Yancich and Principal Percussionist Richard Weiner. Prior to moving to Cleveland, Mr. Epp studied with Jauvon Gilliam, Principal Timpanist with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra. In addition to presenting percussion masterclasses and freelancing as a performer, Mr. Epp has appeared with the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra, the Calgary Philharmonic and the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra.
