Aline Rocha started her music studies at the age of eight. Later, at eleven, she moved to Belo Horizonte, capital of Minas Gerais, Brazil, to continue her piano lessons. She often takes part in master classes with renowned pianists such as Ricardo Castro, Luis Senise, Mirta Herrera, Luis Moura Castro, Ksenia Nosikova and Gilberto Tinetti. She has been laureated with first places and special rewards in many traditional piano competitions, as the XIII National Arte Livre Piano Competition and the XI Souza Lima Piano Competition, both in Sao Paulo, and with the First Honorable Mention in the Claudio Arrau International Piano Competition, in Chile in 2007. She participated in numerous courses for improvement as Extension Course in Music, taught by teachers Dr. h.c. Fany Solter and Norton Morozowicz in Rio de Janeiro (BR); Music Festival of Jaragua do Sul, Santa Catarina (BR); Music Festival in the Mountains, in Pocos de Caldas (BR); Academy for Piano and Chamber Music of Konz, Germany, where she had the opportunity to perform in the cities of Trier and Konz. Currently attended the final year of graduation with Mrs. Miriam Bastos, at the University of Minas Gerais State.
